Integrated healthcare is when medical professionals consider mental health as part of overall physical well-being - and this approach is more likely to improve quality of life.
In mid-2013 an inquiry was conducted into the integration of mental and physical healthcare, and the resulting report Crossing Boundaries: improving integrated care for people with mental health problems is now available to download.
Aim and Audience
The aim was to identify good practice, generate discussion and draw up key messages on integrated healthcare.
Policy makers and others working in the field of mental health may find the report especially useful.

Update: I found some further information on the Royal College of Psychiatrists website mentioning integration of physical and mental health care; which obviously, is something we already have done to a degree, but we can explore how we could make it better. Here are the links for some further reading in other areas of interest.
